R&D

From Haircare Product Development to Extensive Academic Research Links

The COSMOCOS Dermatology Institute was launched with the incorporation of COSMOCOS in February 1994.
The institute initially undertook research into haircare products supplied to hair salons. However,
the launch of Flor de Man in 1997 led it broaden the scope of its research.
Its industry-leading research into the weaknesses of foam cleansing and soap led to the development in 1998 of a liquid-type cleanser that worked mild on the skin to deliver a great cleansing effect.
The move to a larger facility in 2001 enabled the institute to push the boundaries of its research to new technologies and materials in order to identify and evaluate ingredients that benefit the skin.

/ Red ginseng's saponin contains Ginsenoside Rg3, a special ingredient for haircare products that has been recognized as being effective in preventing hair loss and making the hair thick.
